Elliot Loney

HP Coach

Elliot Loney

We’re thrilled to announce that high-profile coach Elliot Loney has joined SETA Tennis Academy at Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club!
Elliot brings a rare blend of elite playing experience, coaching expertise, and infectious energy to every session. A former Victorian state representative and a Tennis Australia-qualified Junior Development Coach, Elliot has coached across all levels of the game – from Hot Shots beginners to players on the professional tour.
He’s completed training blocks with Nick Kyrgios, travelled with and coached Thanasi Kokkinakis at UTS, and even shared Centre Court with Novak Djokovic. With strong ties to Australia’s top players and firsthand experience travelling on tour, Elliot delivers a level of insight and inspiration that few can match.
At SETA, Elliot will be focusing on working closely with our performance players in both the Compete and Enhanced squads, helping them raise their game to new heights. He’ll also be available for a limited number of private coaching sessions, offering tailored, high-performance training for players who are serious about improving.

Off the court, Elliot is internationally known for his tennis impersonations and viral comedy – you may have seen him on The Today Show, or collaborating with icons like Djokovic, McEnroe, and Patrick Mouratoglou. He even appears as a main playable character in the PS5/Xbox tennis video game Tiebreak. (He’s popping up more than a kick serve on a clay court!)
Elliot’s sessions are high-energy, engaging, and designed to build skill, confidence, and a genuine love for the game – all delivered with his trademark down-to-earth coaching style.
Interested in training privately with Elliot?

He’ll be working with a small number of select players in one-on-one sessions. If you’d like to be considered, please submit an expression of interest by contacting us directly. This is a unique opportunity to learn from someone with real tour-level experience – spots will be limited.
