Embarking on his tennis journey at the tender age of 4, Omar Fields’ passion for the sport was ignited by his father’s inspiration. A formidable player from the outset, Omar’s trajectory led him to the Australian nationals, where he competed fervently from the 12s to the 18s. In a crowning achievement, he and his partner clinched the doubles title in the 18s nationals. Venturing onto the ITF tour, both nationally and internationally, Omar’s tennis prowess reached its zenith in the iconic tournament in Sapporo, Japan.

A seasoned athlete, Omar served as an Australian Open hitting partner for three consecutive years, sharing the court with renowned players like Dominic Thiem, Jordan Thompson, and Nikoloz Basilashvili. Notably, he achieved a career-high ATP ranking of 1522, a testament to his dedication and skill on the court.

Transitioning seamlessly from player to coach, Omar boasts a decade of experience moulding tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels into high-performance players. Committed to fostering a professional and nurturing environment, he empowers students not only to deepen their love for the game but also to enhance their mental and physical prowess on the court.

Omar holds a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Deakin University, underlining his commitment to the science behind sports performance. Ever the avid learner, he consistently seeks opportunities to expand his knowledge in the dynamic field of sports science.
